Merry Christmas to All and to All a Good Night

I know it's officially not Christmas day, but we are headed to Oklahoma tomorrow to celebrate with Brady's family and then to see mine later next week. For the two of us, Christmas and traveling across Oklahoma come hand in hand....we are use to it.
I just wanted to wish ya'll a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May your next few days be filled with lots of family, friends, new little ones, warm houses, good food and holiday cheer. See ya'll in 2009!
Much Love,
Charly

A Few of My Favorite Things

Here are a few of my favorite things for the month of December.....
*Hot tea (decaf please) on a cold night.
*Receiving Christmas Cards...I love them.
*Wrapping presents in anticipation of the reaction of the recipient.
*Eating all the yummy baked goods at work.
*Brady taking pleasure in his new job.
*Feeling little Case flutter around in my tummy.
*Making these scarves....here are my little ones modeling the small version.
*Watching Christmas movies and humming Christmas tunes.
*Dreaming of what Christmas will be like next year with a new baby.
*Praying this pillow makes it easier for me to sleep at night.
*Crying and laughing while reading Marley and Me. I can't wait to see the movie.
*Being thankful for all of the blessings I have in my life. I'm a lucky lady.

My Surgical Tech

Brady graduated last Monday from Surgical Tech school. He's already landed a job at a hospital here in Wichita. I'm super proud of him! He's already talking about Nursing School though! No matter, I'm just happy he has found a profession that he enjoys....you know seeing people being cut open, blood, guts, all that fun stuff. Gross.
Baskin Robbin's Ice Cream Cake, Brady's FAVORITE!Don't we look cute with our matching tie and sweater?

Wind

Did ya'll know that the wind blows really hard here in Kansas? Yeah, me neither. Ha. Ha. It is howling outside our apartment. They say a winter storm is not coming through our area, but I think they are lying. The wind told me so.

This is one of those random, just because posts. I think I'm really putting off cleaning our bathroom. Yeah, that's it. We have peeps coming today and I'm a clean freak when people visit. We are having Brady a small Graduation dinner tonight with family and friends. I'm so excited for him. His official graduation is Monday and so is his first day on a new job. Yay for my hubby.

That's all I've got. Off to clean the bathroom, shower, and wait for the parents to arrive.

One more thing, I just finished watching P.S. I Love You. I give it 5 out of 10. It was so-so, but boy did it make me cry.

Have a GREAT weekend. Stay warm!

My Santa...My Husband

Brady and I have this thing where we can NEVER wait until Christmas to give each other our presents. We end up buying something for each other that we are so excited about and open it right when we buy it. It's a bad habit. Hopefully when the kid gets big enough we will actually wait until Christmas to let him open presents.....but I might let him sneak one early.
So...my husband is the best, just so ya'll know. You see, I bought him a TV for a Graduation/Christmas/Birthday/Valentines present. I gave it to him back in October! Crazy stuff. Brady on the other hand waited until today when my present came in the mail to give me mine. At least he waited until December. Ok, back to him being awesome. The day we found out we were having a boy and had settled on a name...he ordered from my FAVORITE jewelry store. He did good.

I also want to add that not only is he a great gift giver and spoils me with my love of trinkets. He also has been a wonderful husband to my hormonal self. He has pampered me, comforted me, held me why I cry for no reason and rubs my belly while talking to his little boy. I don't know if he reads this blog or not, but if he does....I love you and thank you for all you do!
