Here is a birthday cupcake for my few blog readers. I did not make these, but if I did, I would share with you all. Yummy.Yeah, I turned 28 today. 28! Thirty is so close. I usually don't freak out unless it is a major milestone. I got really depressed at 25 and I'm sure 30 will be no different. We will see.
So here is to a new year for me. A year full of wonderful surprises...I love surprises. New beginnings for my little family. And as usual, lots of bacon and things that glitter.

I'm telling you, Chuck, 30 is GREAT!!! I was SO glad to leave my 20's behind! With age comes wisdom, sista, and I love myself much more at 31 than I did at 21. It's all in how you look at it. Embrace your 30's! What is there to be sad about, after all?
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY (a day late, in case my card didn't make it on time!)!!!
Congrats! I am also 28 and I have to say -- no room for depression. It is a great year!
